What are the festival hours?

The festival runs daily from around 10 AM to 10 PM on Saturday and 10 AM to 7 PM on Sunday. RAIN OR SHINE. In the event of rain, we will have tents and indoor activities.

Where can I buy tickets?

You will be directed to a lot near The Granite for parking. Parking attendants will be on-site to guide you.

Two free shuttle buses will run continuously between the lot and The Granite from 12 PM to 11 PM on Saturday and 12 PM to 9 PM on Sunday.

PLEASE do not park on Main Street in Georgetown Village. Park on The Granite side of the street.

You're also welcome to walk, bike, or take the nearby train in Branchville, CT, which is about 1 mile from The Granite.

What’s the weather like in Georgetown, CT?

While we hope for a golden autumn day, please come prepared for any weather conditions. This includes: intense sun, heat, rain, wind, or sleet. The show happens rain or shine!

Can I bring my pet?

NO PETS OF ANY KIND ALLOWED on the grounds, inside the building, or in the parking lots. Be your dog’s best friend and do not bring them to the show.

Where can I stay?

Numerous lodging options are available in the Greater Georgetown Area in the neighboring towns of Ridgefield, Danbury, Norwalk, and others.

What can I bring into the festival?

ALCOHOL and GLASS ARE NOT ALLOWED on the festival grounds. You’re welcome to bring in your own food and soft drinks in appropriate containers. We serve beer and wine at the festival (don’t forget your ID!), and we have food vendors on-site and more Georgetown restaurants right across the street.

Will there be food and drinks available?

Yes! Food, beverages, and alcohol will be available for purchase at the event. Expect delicious fare from food trucks and local restaurants.

Is this a kid-friendly event?

Absolutely! Planet Granite welcomes kids of all ages. While young people and their families will enjoy simply exploring the festival, we’re also offering kid-focused activities each day and a dedicated kids' zone.

What is the seating like?

Outdoor seating is all general admission lawn seating, so bring a blanket or chair. Only low-back lawn chairs are allowed in front of the stage. If we can roll a basketball under it, we’ll ask you nicely to move. Blankets are allowed to reserve space and to protect the grass. Umbrellas, shade tents, and other view-obstructing items are allowed along the riverside only in the marked-off designated area.

Can I record the festival?

Audiotaping the music at the festival is permitted. Recording devices must be self-contained (we do not provide AC outlets or patches to the soundboard), and you may not obstruct the view of your fellow festival-goers with your equipment. There is no designated area for taping.

How much is admission for children?

CHILDREN 12 and under are FREE for the festival, but must be accompanied by a paying adult. CHILDREN 13-17 are $20 per day with a Youth ticket. Check out the kids' tent daily for fun family activities! Please accompany your children at all times.

Can I volunteer for a ticket?

Yes, you can. You can work 2 three-hour shifts in exchange for a 2-day pass. For more information, please visit our Volunteer page and fill out the interest form.
