The festival runs daily from around 10 AM to 10 PM on Saturday and 10 AM to 7 PM on Sunday. RAIN OR SHINE. In the event of rain, we will have tents and indoor activities.

You can also purchase tickets at the door on the day of the event.

There are two options for parking at Planet Granite:

1. Park at the designated parking lot, then take the free shuttle or walk to The Granite Church.
2. If eligible, handicapped parking is available next to The Granite Church on North Main Street. See the Parking Attendant for guidance.

Getting to the designated parking lot:

1. Turn onto Portland Ave. and pass The Granite Church (5 North Main Street, Redding, CT)
2. Continue straight through 1 stop sign (intersection of Brookside and Portland Ave.)
3. Continue for 0.25 miles until you see a Parking Attendant on your left.
4. Park in the designated parking lot.

Important information:

• Please DO NOT park on Main Street. This is designated for restaurants/businesses only.
• The shuttle is a 1-minute ride. Walking is 0.25 miles/6 minute walk.
• Parking and the shuttle are BOTH FREE.
• Visit us at the Festival FAQ Booth at the entrance to The Granite Church's parking lot if you have questions or need help.
• Parking attendants will be on-site to guide you.
• The free shuttle bus will run continuously between the lot and The Granite from 12 PM to 11 PM on Saturday and 12 PM to 9 PM on Sunday.

Alternate transportation: You're also welcome to walk, bike, or take the nearby train in Branchville, CT, which is about 1 mile from The Granite.

While we hope for a golden autumn day, please come prepared for any weather conditions. This includes: intense sun, heat, rain, wind, or sleet. The show happens rain or shine!

NO PETS OF ANY KIND ALLOWED on the grounds, inside the building, or in the parking lots. Be your dog’s best friend and do not bring them to the show.

Numerous lodging options are available in the Greater Georgetown Area in the neighboring towns of Ridgefield, Danbury, Norwalk, and others.

ALCOHOL and GLASS ARE NOT ALLOWED on the festival grounds. You’re welcome to bring in your own food and soft drinks in appropriate containers. We serve beer and wine at the festival (don’t forget your ID!), and we have food vendors on-site and more Georgetown restaurants right across the street.

Yes! Food, beverages, and alcohol will be available for purchase. Expect delicious fare from food trucks and local restaurants.

Absolutely! Planet Granite welcomes kids of all ages. While young people and their families will enjoy simply exploring the festival, we’re also offering kid-focused activities each day and a dedicated kids' zone.

• SAT & SUN, 10 AM: Kids Musical Storytime
• SUN, 10 AM: Instrument Petting Zoo
• SAT & SUN, 12 PM: Kids’ Showcase, where young performers show off their talent!
• SAT & SUN, 11:30 AM - 5 PM: The Granite Kids Zone, offering face painting, giant parachute, games, crafts & more.

Kid-Friendly Food! Chicken, Pizza, Smash Burgers

Outdoor seating is all general admission lawn seating, so bring a blanket or chair. Only low-back lawn chairs are allowed in front of the stage. If we can roll a basketball under it, we’ll ask you nicely to move. Blankets are allowed to reserve space and to protect the grass. Umbrellas, shade tents, and other view-obstructing items are allowed along the riverside only in the marked-off designated area.

Audiotaping the music at the festival is permitted. Recording devices must be self-contained (we do not provide AC outlets or patches to the soundboard), and you may not obstruct the view of your fellow festival-goers with your equipment. There is no designated area for taping.

CHILDREN 12 and under are FREE for the festival, but must be accompanied by a paying adult. CHILDREN 13-17 are $20 per day with a Youth ticket. Check out the kids' tent daily for fun family activities! Please accompany your children at all times.

Yes, you can. You can work 2 three-hour shifts in exchange for a 2-day pass. For more information, please visit our Volunteer page and fill out the interest form.
